I was thinking of buying this for my Jess doll for her dining room table. Anybody have any reviews? I know the table-top is plastic, but for $32 that doesn't bother me much. I'd probably repaint the top black anyway, so it would look like laquered wood.

Who has this and do you think it'd work as a Japanese dining table? My Jess will be from the 1940s, but as long as the furniture is sort of in the ballpark of the look I'm going for, I don't mind if it isn't 100% authentic since I have to piece it together. I thought about making a table, but then I'd also have to find or make tiny cushions, and I like the ones from AG.
